Avron Ritch Consulting Ltd. (ARCL) is an engineering company specializing in Arctic and cold regions research and project development, design and implementation. The principal of the company is Mr. Ron Ritch,a Professional Engineer. Mr. Ritch has completed over 20 field test programs and 30 ship trials of various types. He has been responsible for all aspects of fieldwork including logistical planning, procurement, equipment design and construction, and field program conduction. Mr. Ritch's field program experience includes three icebreaker voyages to the North Pole and field programs in Canada, Russia and Kazakhstan.

Mr Ritch has also been involved in design projects to predict ice loads on various structures. This includes acting as a design review engineer for the prediction of ice loads on the Prince Edward Island Confederation bridge where he developed a Monte Carlo simulation model for the prediction of ice loads on this structure. This model was later adapted for use on several proposed Sakhalin Island structures.
